Artificial intelligence trust, safety, security and compliance technology startup AIceberg Inc. today announced that it has raised $10 million in new funding and launched its AI trust platform that provides enterprise-grade security with real-time, automated validation of AI application traffic.
Founded in 2022, AIceberg’s technology is designed to allow enterprises and public entities to make their AI systems fully transparent, explainable, safe, effective and compliant. The company believes that full transparency and explainability are foundational for managing all risk aspects of AI models.
AIceberg’s platform unlocks the power of generative and agentic AI and eliminates the risks by working as an AI firewall and gateway that monitors user prompts and model/agent responses for risk signals and enforces security and organizational policies. As a result, organizations can mitigate risks and adapt swiftly to emerging threats with real-time responses, agentic action controls and customized security policies.
Additionally, AIceberg’s advanced threat detection delivers a security posture that it says is always up-to-date for the latest attack vectors. It offers real-time detection and mitigation against AI cybersecurity threats such as data leaks and unauthorized access.
Key benefits of the company’s new AI trust platform include guardrails for safety that ensure only approved and relevant AI interactions are allowed, preventing unsanctioned, unsuitable, or illegal content. The platform also protects privacy by automatically redacting personal and sensitive information from AI inputs and outputs.
In addition, the platform maintains an up-to-date security posture by detecting common AI cybersecurity threats like prompt injection, prompt leaking and jailbreaking. The AI trust platform performs advanced security analysis across agentic workflows, helping organizations stay protected against emerging risks.
The platform also delivers compliance, transparency and auditability through explainable, non-generative AI models, providing accurate and traceable oversight. With full enterprise observability, businesses can monitor AI interactions to improve user experience and uncover insights through prompt and response analysis.
The seed round was led by SYN Ventures and Sprout & Oak.
“The public and private sectors are eager to gain a competitive advantage by integrating AI tools, but without appropriate guardrails in place, these efforts can open them to great risk,” said Jay Leek, managing partner of SYN Ventures. “AIceberg’s deep domain experience and unmatched technological capabilities have quickly positioned them as the industry leader in developing solutions to make safe AI systems. We are thrilled to invest in the team.”
