Bell is now only offering $50 towards its $75 connection fee for online purchases. This change applies to Bell and its flanker brand, Virgin Plus and follows the recently raised prices on connection fees.
Online purchases that previously would’ve waived this fee will now only receive a partial credit of $50 towards the $75 fee, leaving the remaining $25 unpaid.
If you bring your own device, the connection fee is still entirely waived. However, plans that involve the purchase of a new device are only eligible for the $50 partial credit.
Meanwhile, Rogers and its flanker brand Fido just increased connection fees to $80.
