Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim told participants at the Fortune ASEAN-GCC-China Economic Forum on May 27 that Southeast Asia needed to act to protect the region’s interests. The Trump administration is currently threatening steep tariffs on ASEAN members like Vietnam and Cambodia.
