Following the incredible success of BAYC, the phenomenon has found itself into the music industry.
Various artists and bands have incorporated them into their works, including in lyrics.
Last year, Universal Music announced a Bored Ape Yacht Club Music Group, named KINGSHIP.
There’s now a new BAYC-inspired band going by the name Bored Brothers.
Bored Brothers is a concept by Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and KYGO, two NFT enthusiasts.
The band will create dance and hip-hop music, with their first NFT song ‘DRIP’ set to be released on Friday, April 22 at 5 pm EST.
There only be 300 DRIP NFTs, at a price of 0.1 ETH. Presale access has been granted to all BAYC holders.
On top of the NFT song, DRIP holders will get a chance to win a ‘Golden Egg’, which will be hidden in a randomly selected timestamp.
This winner will get credit in the DRIP music video, as well as get a chance to meet the Bored Brothers.
