While I loved the Nothing Phone 3(a) series, the company’s CEO, Carl Pei, has confirmed the Nothing Phone 3 will come out in Q3 this year, and I can’t wait.
Today, leaks of the anticipated device have been shared online. The Nothing Phone 3, codenamed ‘Metroid’, will reportedly sport a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 5,000mAh battery, and a triple camera setup. A part of that setup includes a large primary sensor and a periscope zoom (better than the one on the Nothing Phone 3a).
Considering the device will hit shelves sometime this summer, the handset will likely run a stable version of Android 16, and it’s expected to run Nothing OS 3.2 (based on Android 15) at launch.
Pei has confirmed that the device will cost around US$1,000 (roughly C$1,400).
Nothing has also recently confirmed that it’s making over-ear headphones, as shared in a new video published by the company. The headset is also launching this summer so that they might launch around the same time.
