Prime members can join Audible at no cost for three months – here’s how

If you missed Amazon’s Book Sale in April, don’t fret. Amazon Prime day is coming, and casual readers and bibliophiles will love this offer.

To kick off savings, Amazon is offering exclusive deals and trials on its services — like Audible. This audiobook service allows you one credit a month and access to over 1 million audiobooks. And right now, Prime members can try Audible at no cost for three months (a $45 value). After the three months, the subscription auto-renews to $15 a month + tax (unless you cancel).

In April I saw a similar offer where customers could grab Audible for $1 per month for three months, but this Prime exclusive offer is even better, and a great way to jump into listening ahead of summer travels. Audible usually has a standard free trial for a month or less, so getting three months to really test it out is a nice plus. And if you’re paying for Prime anyway, it’s worth a shot.

You can also access your audiobooks through almost any device you have. Audible is a great way to keep literature in your life, especially if you’re always on the go. Listening to an audiobook during your morning commute or evening gym session can add knowledge or entertainment to your daily routine.

Audiobooks can also help you cut down on clutter, enabling you to enjoy more books without taking up so much space. At $1 per month for a limited time, this is a great deal with many options.

The service has access to the latest and greatest books, including titles like The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry, and even the newest installment of The Hunger Games series, Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins. Hopefully, Audible can help you continue your reading journey when a busy working lifestyle can get in the way, while saving some money.

How I rated this deal

Audible usually costs $15 a month. Therefore, this three-month trial at no cost for Prime members is a great offer. This reason, plus the fact that Audible’s standard free trial is only a month in length, allowed me to give this deal a 3/5 Editor’s deal rating. It still won’t be for everyone, especially if you aren’t a Prime member currently. But three months with the service can help you familiarize yourself with it and determine if it’s worth the full price in the future for your needs. After the three months, you can always cancel – no harm done.
