Techaeris Best of CES 2025

This year I made it to CES 2025 and I saw plenty of stuff, just not enough. I had to leave early thanks to the CES flu, but I do have the Techaeris Best of CES 2025 here for your reading pleasure. This is the Best of CES, at least the CES I saw. I am making this a short article, but I’m including links to the various winners. I am still recovering from the CES flu and I could use all the rest I can get!

So here’s what, I thought, was the Best of CES 2025 and congratulations to all the winners on this list. This list is in no particular order. Links are highlighted in teal.

Techaeris Best of CES 2025

  • Samsung Odyssey 3D Monitor: A fantastic gaming monitor with 3D functionality that does not require 3D glasses to use. Probably one of the coolest monitors I have ever seen.
  • Samsung S95F OLED TV: Samsung continues making some of the very best OLED TVs and the new S95F is a killer looking TV well worth your time considering.
  • Samsung QN990F 8K TV: Samsung’s flagship 8K is back, and it’s better than ever. With amazing color, contrast, and brightness. This is the TV you need to buy!
  • Alienware Area-51 Desktop: Alienware desktops are some of the best looking on the market, and this one has grabbed the Best of CES 2025 award from yours truly.
  • Dell Pro 13/14 Premium Laptops: With a new naming scheme and slick looks. The new Dell Pro family of laptops are a serious blow to Apple and competing PC laptops.
  • Lenovo Legion Go S Steam: The Lenovo Legion Go was an outstanding gaming handheld and this year, Lenovo brings us a slightly smaller handheld but with Steam OS instead. This is a fantastic collab and well worth looking at. There is a Windows version too.
  • Lenovo ThinkPad X9: The X9 is the newest ThinkPad with some unique features. This could be the best MacBook Killer ever made. It might ruffle some feathers, though, considering the TrackPoint has been removed.
  • Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i: An outstanding looking, well-built, sleek, and beautiful laptop. Easily one of the best-looking laptops and the Best of CES 2025 winner.
  • TCL QM6K TV: TCL has been doing great things with their TV lineup. Last years’ QM8 was a winner, and this year the new QM6K should be on your short list of TVs. It is also a winner of the Best of CES 2025 award.
  • TCL60XE Smartphone NXTPAPER: I am still a fan of TCL smartphones for budget minded users. This US exclusive is a great

  • Acer Nitro Blaze 11: Acer’s Blaze 11 handheld should be a hit with some gamers. This little handheld is also a winner of the Best of CES 2025 award.
  • Swann MaxRanger4K Pro: Swann has been around and making security devices for some time now. And this latest product gets the Best of CES 2025 award for its ease of use and 4K resolution.
  • Swann MaxRanger4K Video Doorbell with SwannShield: To go along with the 4K Pro, pair it up with this doorbell.
  • Intel Lunar Lake Processors: Intel expanded its Lunar Lake Processors. We were already impressed with what they introduced last year, and this expansion is going to take Intel to some really great places. Lunar Lake is truly a tech breakthrough, and it got the Best of CES 2025 award.
  • Lili Dyslexic Screen: I didn’t get to spend much time with this one, but I really love the idea of helping those with dyslexia read. This new monitor device is supposed to help do that, and I hope I get a chance to test it, as two of my kids have dyslexia. This is not a production product, yet.
  • Donut Lab electric motor: New EV hub motors are very cool and poised to change the EV industry. All this EV tech is new, but this one certainly deserved the Best of CES 2025 award.

  • ASUS Strix scar 18: A giant gaming laptop with cool party tricks, awesome specs, and killer looks. What more do you need in a gaming laptop?
  • Ventiva Solid State Cooling: Fanless cooling for laptops and more? Holy cow, this one was one of my favorites and the Best of CES 2025 winner!
  • Hyve smart home pod: Keep your packages safe when they are delivered. This isn’t the first time this has been tried, but I have hope for this, and that’s why it got the Best of CES 2025 award.
  • XGIMI Ascend: An astonishing ALR screen for your projector with a built-in soundbar that rolls up out of a cabinet and keeps things tidy. This isn’t in production, but the company says it is likely they will produce it.
  • Focal Diva Utopia speakers: Expensive, but very amazing speakers with built-in amps, dacs, and preamps. These are for serious sound lovers, but they deserved the Best of CES 2025.
  • Shure MV7i microphone: A new mic with some outstanding features, perfect for podcasters, gamers, and even musicians.

That is our Best of CES 2025 list this year. I wish I hadn’t missed my last day at CES, but this flu got a hold of me. I would have had more winners if I had made the other events I missed. Thanks for reading, watching and supporting Techaeris!
