Uquid x StealthEX: Recap of Exclusive AMA

On 18th of June, StealthEX hosted a live AMA session with Jill from Uquid, a pioneering Web3 shopping infrastructure project. The discussion covered Uquid’s approach to onboarding merchants, integration with Telegram, handling cross-chain payments, and more.

Recap of Exclusive AMA: Uquid x StealthEX

Questions from Twitter

Q1: I read out on your Medium article focusing on working with verified merchants. What approach do you take to onboard those sellers at scale? What example do you partner with established marketplaces or prioritize onboarding crypto native brands directly? How do you access common emerging concerns, such as crypto price volatility, converting crypto earnings to fiat, in order to make participating in your web marketing place more appealing?

Jill: We currently take a curated approach rather than scaling massively. Our internal team carefully selects and verifies sellers to ensure product quality and alignment with our values. Merchants on Uquid get exposure to a global crypto user base and support for over 100 token payments, addressing price volatility and easing onboarding. We also run product promotions, which are highlighted regularly on our Twitter page.

Q2: How does Uquid leverage Web3 infrastructure to ensure seamless integration of both physical and digital shopping experiences, particularly with platforms like Telegram?

Jill: We use Telegram Mini Apps with three key bots:

  • Uquid Bot with 535,000 digital items;
  • Uquid Shop Bot with 178 million physical items;
  • Shop1USDT Bot with 68,000 items at just 1 USDT.

Users can shop directly in their chats while engaging socially, using smart contracts and token payments. We aim to make crypto commerce interactive, accessible, and social.

Q3: As native agents and autonomous wallets begin participating in on-chain commerce, how is Uquid preparing its infrastructure to support machine-to-machine transactions and adaptive smart contract interactions in real time?

Jill: We’re integrating AI for personalized product recommendations by analyzing user behavior and shopping history. This enhances the shopping experience across our vast catalog of over 178 million items.

Q4: Crypto shopping can be hindered by high gas fees, slow transactions, or lack of cross-chain interoperability. How does Uquid handle multi-chain payments? Does it use any layer 2 solutions or bridges, and how does it protect users from failed or stopped transactions?

Jill: Uquid supports 100+ tokens across networks like BNB Chain, Polygon, Tron, and more. Layer 2 solutions are implemented to keep costs low and transactions fast. Cross-chain payments use monitored bridges and gateways, with a 24/7 human support team ready to assist.

Q5: What are the benefits of Uquid Card for NFT and metaverse-related transactions, and how does it integrate these digital assets into real-world shopping experiences through its Web3 marketplace or decentralized commerce layer?

Jill: We do support NFT and metaverse-related use cases through our NFT Marketplace, though our primary focus remains physical and digital product adoption. Any future updates will be shared on our official pages.

Q6: Uquid’s dApp center recently welcomed Second Life and Verasity, expanding real-world use cases in Web3. Can you share specific examples on how these partnerships enable unique shopping or interactive experience and how they align with Uquid’s vision of creating a smart shopping ecosystem in the metaverse?

Jill: Our dApp Center now features nearly 240 projects. Partnerships like Second Life and Verasity enrich the Web3 shopping experience by merging virtual environments with real-world commerce. Our goal is to create a vibrant ecosystem with global utility and integration.

Q7: A big challenge in Web3 payments is turning one-time users into repeat participants. Are there mechanisms like token-based loyalty systems, NFT cashback rewards, or gamified incentives that encourage recurring engagement?

Jill: Yes. Our Telegram-integrated Uquid Bot offers missions where users earn Uquid Points, which will soon be redeemable for exciting rewards. We also partner with projects like Solana and Bit to run cashback and promotion campaigns.

Q8: Uquid’s shopping model removes banks and intermediaries. But without centralized oversight, how can customers ensure returns, refunds or fraud protection? Can smart contracts alone fulfill the role of customer service?

Jill: We use smart contracts to automate refunds and payments based on delivery confirmation. But we also maintain a hybrid model, combining automation with a 24/7 support team to handle disputes, returns, and customer concerns.

Q9: One thing people often talk about in Web3 is digital identity and asset ownership. How does Uquid empower users to truly own their data, purchases, and loyalty rewards compared to traditional Web2 e-commerce?

Jill: Uquid Points are on-chain and belong entirely to users. No unnecessary data is stored, and we’re exploring decentralized identity solutions. We aim to empower users with real ownership and utility.

Q10: I’d love to know more about Uquid’s vision for the future of online shopping. How do you see crypto and blockchain shaping the e-commerce landscape in 5–10 years?

Jill: We envision borderless, crypto-enabled commerce becoming part of everyday life. Removing intermediaries increases transparency and inclusion. The goal is to make crypto practical—shopping, rewards, and supporting real causes through blockchain.

Live Questions

Q1: How do you plan to expand the adoption of stablecoin like USDC, which currently lags behind USDT on your platform, and what specific campaigns or features are in the pipeline to boost its usage?

Jill: While USDT remains dominant, we’re working on campaigns to promote USDC adoption. Though details can’t be shared yet, inclusivity across preferred stablecoins is our aim.

Q2: What steps are you taking to support eco-friendly blockchains for sustainable transactions?

Jill: We already support energy-efficient networks like Polygon and Tron, and are planning to integrate more sustainable options. Environmental impact is a key consideration in our future infrastructure upgrades.

Q3: In enabling seamless crypto payments for both digital and physical goods, how does Uquid address the UX friction between volatile token values and consumer price stability? Could Layer 2 payment channels or auto-stable converters offer scalable solutions?

Jill: We aim for mass adoption with real-world use cases, including utility bill payments and mobile top-ups. Our multi-chain system spreads activity across scalable, low-cost networks. We continue to improve backend systems and partnerships to scale horizontally.

Q4: How does your platform ensure the safety and security of user funds and data? Are there any independent audits or security certifications?

Jill: User privacy is ensured through self-custodial wallets. We do not store unnecessary data and are looking into decentralized identity systems. Our focus is on delivering Web3 freedom with Web2-level safety and trust.
